The main purpose of the Islamic Boys’ Camp is to help our young Muslim brothers learn more about Islam and about how they can live a truly Islamic life here in the United States. We aim to do this through lectures and activities that educate and inspire our Muslim youth.

At the Boys' Camp, our young brothers benefit from guest speakers who give presentations and lectures that teach and enlighten them about Islam and inspire them to be better Muslims insha’Allah. It is also a place where leadership skills will be learned and practiced to gain better-equipped Muslim leaders for the future of all. In addition to the benefits and the general goals of Islamic camping, the boys’ camp will help our young Muslim brothers plan how to spend their time after the camp, in ways that will benefit them here and in the Hereafter.

In July of 2006, the first Annual Boys’ Camp was held at the Haw River Conference Center. Twenty-six young brothers from throughout the Triad attended. For three days the brothers had fun playing, swimming, and boating, and also had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of Islam through our guest speakers’ lectures. For many, it was their first ever experience sleeping away from home. We hope to change the camp insha’Allah from once a year to semi-annual.
