This camp is for your benefit, we want you to enjoy your time here, but it is of utmost importance that you understand you are not here for fun and games. The purpose of this camp is to teach you more about Islam, and to help you bring Islam into your daily life as your actual lifestyle, not just your religion.

Islam is not just something you believe, it is something you LIVE.

Islam should dictate how you interact with your family, your friends, and your neighbors. Islam is a beautiful Gift from Allah (SWT) and insha’Allah this camp will help you to more fully embrace Islam and be a better Muslim.

With that in mind, please read the camp rules listed below thoroughly. If you have any questions or confusion about the rules then do not hesitate to contact us to clarify the rules for you before you register and pay your fees. We are very serious about these rules and expect them to be followed. Anyone disobeying camp rules knowingly will be warned and if they persist they will be sent home and not allowed to come again.
Campers must dress in accordance with the YMR dress code at all times.
Campers should obey their group leaders.
If a camper has a problem or a concern, he or she should immediately talk to his or her group leader.
If a camper would like to meet a friend from another group, he or she should first seek the permission of his or her group leader.
Always be helpful to other campers, in your group and other groups. Be especially helpful to younger campers, and remember that you should behave as positive role models for your younger brothers and sisters in Islam.
Make your bed before you leave your cabin.
Do not leave your property in the bathroom or scattered around the room. You must keep your area neat and clean and assist in keeping the cabin and bathroom clean.
Campers are responsible for their own belongings, please do not be careless. Make sure you have what you need before you leave your cabin so you will not have to leave activities in progress to go retrieve them. You will only be allowed to leave a scheduled activity for a very good reason.
Campers must be on time for all scheduled activities, no excuses…
Wastefulness will not be tolerated, this goes for paper goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, and napkins, but especially for food. Please do not load your plate up with food but take only a small portion. You can go back for more if you are still hungry but this way you can avoid taking more than you need and ultimately throwing the uneaten food in the trash. The less waste we have, the less money is wasted as well, which will help keep the monetary costs of the camp down for you and your family.
If we receive complaints about a camper from a group leader, the camper will be warned. If the behavior in question is not changed, the camper may be asked to leave and will not be allowed to return to the camp the following year.
Camp fees are non-refundable.
